Betreff: KIBI-DIGM collaboration
Dear Prof Antoinette,
I would like to share (in attachment) with you the guidelines for applying to the funding program from BMFTR (Bundesministerium für Forschung Technologie und Raumfahrt), namely Bioeconomic International Call 2026. Perhaps we could submit an application under this opportunity for leprosy research, based on the proposals we discussed last Tuesday, with a professor from the University of Münster as the Principle Investigator.
In addition, a draft proposal on epigenetics in Congenital Heart Disease (CHD) has already been prepared by Annisa R., MD, Specialist in Pediatric Cardiology, who is also planning to pursue a doctoral degree. This draft proposal might be shared with Prof. Sigler or Prof. Diller to request their input and feedback. Alternatively, we may consider scheduling another Zoom meeting. A draft research proposal is attached.
Regarding the upcoming MoU signing event, the Education Attaché for Science and Technology at the German Embassy in Indonesia, named Annisa Fitria has expressed interest in attending online, and staff from BMFTR, named Ludwig Kammescheidt are also willing to join and are very interested in the collaboration between KIBI and the University of Münster through DIGM. Therefore, may I kindly ask you to send an official invitation letter as well as an online meeting link to Annisa Fitria (wiss-1@jaka.diplo.de) and Ludwig Kammescheidt (Ludwig.Kammesheidt@dlr.de).
And for the collaboration in the field of ototoxicology, regarding the planned research on the effect of cisplatin on hearing loss in children with cancer undergoing chemotherapy, one of my colleagues from Pediatric Oncology/Hematology, Prof. Murti Andriastuti (email: murti.andriastuti@gmail.com), is interested in joining the collaboration. We can further discuss this via Zoom to explore the cooperation, and of course, I would also like to involve other KI members in this initiative.
Thank you very much for your support, and I look forward to your response.
Best regards,
Asmarinah

Dear Prof Antoinette,
Thank you very much for your response. Yesterday, I was at a celebration party for German Unity Day initiated by the German Embassy in Indonesia, met the Head of DAAD regional office for Indonesia Malaysia, Dr Guido Schnieders, and told him our plan in signing MoU between KIBI-DIGM. He and an officer for the DAAD-scholarship program named Muji Rahayu are interested to join our online event on October 13 at 9am in Muenster. Please also send an invitation to them. (schnieders@daad.de, muji@daad.de).
Thank you for your assistance,
Best regards,
Asmarinah
